This Business Sales Course will ensure all participants cover and understand the following:

  • The importance of targets in all areas of their business.
  • What their customers actually expect.
  • Simple acknowledgment techniques to enhance the customer's experience
  • Techniques to build customer loyalty.
  • How to listen actively and use open questions to determine the customer's needs.
  • How to explain products in terms of their advantages, not features
  • How to link benefits to needs, thereby minimising potential objections to the sale.
  • Close effectively.
  • How to identify opportunities to up-sell the customer and encourage repeat visits.
  • The systems and processes required for long term success.

As the sales skills learnt must be useful to each business's separate needs, each participant will be given course notes including:

  • Pre-work that they need to complete prior to the course.
    (This ensures all participants will gain the maximum benefit.)
  • A practical workbook for them to complete on the day.
  • A list of useful ‘memory joggers' for them to use when back in their own business.
  • A Target and Goals Sheet to be completed for each business


Who is this suitable for?

This Sales Workshop is suitable for any small or medium sized business where almost everyone who works in the businesses has an influence on sales. It is not really designed for experienced Sales Representatives. In particular, the format works well for:

1. Large Nationwide Businesses who have a network of smaller businesses (dealers, franchisee, distributors etc) who have a vested interest in maximising sales through this network. This format works extremely well as a half day training option at their Regional or National Conferences in either New Zealand or Australia.
2. Local Councils who offer subsidized training to local businesses
3. Local Business Groups where 10 or more businesses all want to learn and improve together.
